ABOUT PORTER GLASS

Porter Glass is owned and operated by Gwen Porter in Carlsbad, California.  Gwen first discovered the art of stained glass at the age of 12.  Since then, she has pursued stained glass as a hobby and business.  Over the last 16 years, she has become highly skilled in both the copper foil (also called Tiffany) and lead came techniques of assembling stained glass, as well as becoming a talented designer.  She loves stained glass in all of its many forms and builds both flat and 3-dimensional pieces.

In May of 2004, Porter Glass began sharing shop space with Tassajara Designs.  Tassajara Designs is a fine woodworking establishment that produces custom pieces from the finest materials. The collaborative relationship between Porter Glass and Tassajara Designs provides customers with one-stop shopping for wood and glass pieces.
